Calligraphy is an important aspect of the Arabic-Islamic culture: its grace and elegance full not only ancient manuscripts but also madrassas and mosques where calligraphy is engraved in chalk and cedar wood or inscribed on zellij tiles. In our school there is an important calligraphy course but if you are interested in a light approach you can follow our weekly two-hours workshop.
HENNA
Henna is pure art and you can totally relax while the hennaya paints on your hands, arms, legs and feet motifs and arabesques chasing each other, a kind of temporary tattoo that gently disappears. Hennaya is called upon demand also for teaching her secrets.
MOROCCAN COUSINE
Moroccan cousine: cuscus, batter, tajine and all those incredible sweets you would like to taste are prepared here, after the shopping at the suq.
YOGA AND PILATES
Three times a week yoga and pilates sessions will take place in the morning before classes. It’s well know that it’s a soft gymnastic good for all ages; it is however required a medical certification attesting your good health.
Our school offers wide spaces for exhibitions of paintings and pictures as well as sufi and gnawa musical evenings.
